As part of the continuation of the study visit to South Korea, together with the Office of the Marshal of the Wielkopolska Region and members of the Business Panel of the Wielkopolska Hydrogen Platform, we visited the nuclear power plant of Korea’s largest energy company, Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power (KHNP).  It was an inspiring event to explore the low-carbon economy ecosystem of our Asian partner.

KHNP operates 26 nuclear power plants in South Korea, covering 30% of the country’s electricity needs. In addition to its local market operations, it also develops integrated energy solutions for international markets, with a particular focus on Poland, engaging in work on the 2800 MW Konin-Pątnów nuclear power plant project.

The visit was carried out within the framework of the project “Wielkopolska Intelligent Specializations – Ecosystem for Climate Neutrality (WIS-E 4 NET ZERO)”, 💻 https://lnkd.in/d35Sq_RR , and with the support of the Department of Economy of the Office of the Marshal of the Wielkopolska Region 💻https://www.umww.pl/
